Keep the move code handy
When you want to transfer a domain name, you always have to request a transfer code, also called EPP code, from your current provider. This is a kind of password, so that we can be sure that you are the owner. It may be that your provider is currently preventing your domain name from being transferred. This is called "Registrar lock" and can usually be turned off through the provider's control panel.
