What is hosting?
Hosting is where your website lives. You rent a piece of a fast server in a secure data centre, shared with other customers. You take care of your site, we take care of the rest.
What's the difference between web hosting and Managed WordPress?
With web hosting you manage your site yourself and choose your own software. With Managed WordPress (coming soon) WordPress is ready to go and we keep it up to date, with backups, a staging environment and the WordPress editions of Shield, Rewind and Pulse.
What is Pro Web Hosting?
Coming soon, our most powerful line: dedicated computing power with Shield Pro, Rewind Pro and Pulse Pro. Checked every minute, a backup every hour, and a team that steps in on its own. The Pro editions are never sold separately.
DirectAdmin or Plesk?
Both are control panels. DirectAdmin is light and fast; Plesk has a richer dashboard with the WP Toolkit and dedicated CPU and RAM per plan. In DigiPanel you do the everyday things the same way either way.
Can I change plans later?
Always. You upgrade or downgrade yourself, in a few clicks in your client area. Your site simply stays online.
Can I bring my existing website?
Yes. With Move you migrate your website, database, mailboxes and DNS yourself, while your current site simply stays online. Free with an annual plan from Power upwards; with other plans at a fixed price.
