Delete a database in DirectAdmin

Updated on 4 November 20261 min read

Delete a database you no longer use.

Here's how

  1. Download a copy first (see "Download a database").
  2. Log in to DirectAdmin: open your plan in your client area and click Open DirectAdmin. You're signed in right away.
  3. Go to Account Manager → MySQL Management.
  4. Tick the database and click Delete. Confirm.

Never delete the database of a website that's still online.

Faster without DirectAdmin: in DigiPanel you do this under Website → Databases.
