Set up the spam filter

Updated on 4 November 20261 min read

The spam filter gives every email a score. From a certain score an email is treated as spam.

Here's how

  1. Go to Email Manager → SpamAssassin Setup.
  2. Turn on the filter and choose the sensitivity. 5 is a good start; lower is stricter.
  3. Choose what should happen to spam: putting it in a spam folder is safest.
  4. Under Whitelist, add addresses that should never count as spam, and under Blacklist addresses that are always spam.
  5. Click Save.

You can also set up the spam filter in DigiPanel, per domain, with the same options.
