Activating free SSL (https) with Let's Encrypt

Updated on 4 November 20261 min read

Every site gets free SSL with us. It's usually already on by itself; here's how to check or activate it.

Here's how

  1. Go to Account Manager → SSL Certificates and choose your domain.
  2. Choose Get automatic certificate from ACME Provider and make sure Let's Encrypt is selected.
  3. Tick your domain and www.yourdomain.be (and optionally mail.yourdomain.be).
  4. Click Save. After a few minutes the certificate is active and renews itself.

Not working? Then your domain probably doesn't point to us (yet). Check the name servers or the A record.

Then force https: see "Always send visitors to https".
