Deleting a backup file with DirectAdmin

< 1 min read

You can delete backup files from your DirectAdmin to reduce disk space usage. If you get an error message while backing up, such as that the backup exceeds the storage limit, it is convenient to delete it.

  • Log in to your DirectAdmin account.
  • In the Advanced Features section, click Backup/Restore or type Restore in the navigation filter box and the option appears. Click on it.
  • In the System Info and Files section, click the File Manager icon or type File Manager in the navigation filter box and the option will appear. Click on it.
  • Open the "backups" folder.
  • Right-click the backup file and choose Delete from the context menu.
