Decide what a database user may do (read, write, change tables, …).

Here's how #

1. Log in to DirectAdmin: open your plan in your client area and click Open DirectAdmin. You're signed in right away.
2. Go to Account Manager → MySQL Management and click the database.
3. Click Change privileges next to the user.
4. Tick the privileges needed and click Change.

Unsure? Leave all privileges on for your website's user; only restrict them for extra users.
