Forward email on your domain name (without a mailbox)

Table Of Contents

Create addresses on your domain name, e.g. info@yourdomain.be, that forward all mail to an existing address (such as your Gmail). You don't need hosting or a mailbox.

Here's how #

  1. Log in to your client area (my.digi.hosting), go to Domain names and click your domain name. Choose DNS management on the left.
  2. Go to Forwarding → Forward email.
  3. Enter the Address (e.g. info) and your existing email address under Forward to.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Want to receive mail to non-existent addresses too? Choose a destination under All other addresses and click Set.

Does your email now arrive at another service (e.g. Google)? DNS management warns you: forwarding only works if your mail arrives with us.

Forwarding all other addresses often brings in extra spam.
