How do you create an FTP account in DirectAdmin?

With the DirectAdmin login credentials, you can access the FTP account, which gives you full access to all data. However, if you want to create an FTP user account for a specific directory, you can create a separate FTP account.

1. Log in to your DirectAdmin account.
2. In the Account Management section, click FTP Management or type FTP Management in the navigation filter box and the option will appear. Click on it.
3. Click on Create FTP account. You'll find it in the upper right corner.
4. Enter the FTP user name and a password. Then choose the Domain option or any other desired option.
5. Click Create.

Your FTP account will be created and your FTP login information will be displayed. Copy them to a safe place.
