That depends on the extension. Your website and mail keep working in the meantime: before the transfer we record all your DNS records.

Here's how #

1. .be and .eu: usually within a few minutes of your order, as soon as the transfer code is correct.
2. .nl: usually within a few hours.
3. .com, .net and others: up to 5 days. You may get an email from the current registrar asking you to approve the transfer; confirm it straight away to speed things up.
4. You can follow the status in your client area under Domain names.

When ordering, you choose whether your DNS comes along to us or stays with your current DNS provider. If web hosting is included, everything comes to us.
