Updates close security holes. Ideally update at least once a month.

Here's how #

1. Make a backup first (see Backups, or prepare a backup via Rewind in DigiPanel).
2. Log in at yourdomain.be/wp-admin.
3. Go to Dashboard → Updates.
4. Update the plugins first, then the themes, and finally WordPress itself.
5. Check your site in a private window. If something's wrong, restore the backup.
